Our Community Values

Authenticity
Every voice matters. Show up as your true self to help break down barriers and stigma.

Empowerment
Share your experiences to support others on their journey. Messages of hope and strength inspire our community.

Safety and Outreach

The Community Journal is a space to come together and support each other. It’s not a counseling service nor a route to reach us for technology issues, account issues, or feedback. Please do not use it to seek help.

If you need urgent emotional support, use these emergency resources. They are free, confidential, and available 24/7. For other help, email help@ableto.com.

Content Review Practices

Each time a new journal prompt is posted, we:

  • Review some, but not all public journal responses
  • Only feature responses that are on-topic, unique, and follow our Community Values
  • Do not monitor responses 24/7
  • Do not read any private journal responses

If we read a public response that we feel signals a potential emotional crisis, we will share emergency resources with the response’s author.
