ONC Hires New Privacy Chief and More Digital Health Hires

At long last, the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IThas named a new chief privacy officer. The post has been vacant since Deven McGraw left the acting chief privacy officer post in October, and some in the industry speculated the Trump administration would not fill the post at all.

Instead, Kathryn Marchesini, the agency’s Senior Advisor and Deputy Director for Privacy, is being promoted into the role. Marchesini has been with ONC since 2010. Prior to that she worked in technology consulting. Read more at Healthcare IT News.
