FAQs

Your privacy is important to us. We comply with rules and regulations, including state privacy laws and HIPAA. All of your in-app activity and virtual sessions are private and secure.

Our digital self-care program is self-guided. It can be accessed via the web or using the AbleTo app on a smartphone or tablet. For therapy and coaching programs, you’ll work 1-on-1 with a therapist, coach, or both. AbleTo has more than 1,500 coaches and licensed therapists in our network.

Let’s begin.

AbleTo programs are a covered benefit under many health plans. You may have out-of-pocket costs, such as a copay or deductible, depending on your plan. Participants with associated costs are billed at the end of their program.

Your first call will be an intake session lasting 1 hour for therapy or 30 minutes for coaching. Your coach or therapist will ask you questions to get to know you better. They’ll also walk you through our evidence-based methods, tailoring them to your needs and goals.

Ready to kick things off? Let’s get started.

Coaching is best for people who want additional support and accountability to help reach their goals. Therapy is best for people who may have more complex needs and be struggling with stress, depression, and anxiety.

Both programs are informed by cognitive behavioral therapy, or CBT. CBT is the form of psychotherapy that’s widely held to be the gold standard in mental healthcare.
