GI issues are aggravated by stress and unhealthy eating habits. This often leads to increased anxiety. It’s a constant battle to manage embarrassing and painful symptoms with medication. Everyday responsibilities can be a hard to accomplish, and social situations become difficult or impossible. How can patients end the shame, self-blame, anger, and loss of self-esteem?
